KIDS ACTING WORKSHOP

Next Actor offers a variety of weekend and after-school Acting Classes for Kids, 6 - 10 years. Children must be able to read.

Older or more matured children may choose the pre-teen classes or even the Stanislavski Method Class.

The Kids' On-Camera Acting session is directed towards helping your kids shed all inhibition as well combat stage fright at a very early age.

Classes are held each week in front of the camera through improv exercises, games, commercials and scene works.

Students may bring a DVD or SD Card to class for recording their performances for parents to watch.

Since 2003, Next Actor Studio has been training child actors the art and craft of on-camera acting. Many of our students have moved on to star in major motion pictures while some are taking break while finishing high school at the moment and some others are still acting and are in our adult classes. Our students participate in the films we make - independent films, Christian films, and student films and get their hands-on training and resume built. Our teachers are SAG-AFTRA and Equity Members from New York, Austin, Houston and Los Angeles. Students must know how to read in order to join our class.

You may request your teacher for a report at the end of each class to keep up with your kid's session.
